Thank you to everyone who joined us for an insightful session on the evolution of adjudication under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act (SOPA).

Since its introduction, adjudication has been a mainstay of dispute resolution in Singapore’s construction industry. Two decades on, this event provided a timely opportunity to reflect on its achievements, identify areas for improvement, and explore how the system can adapt to meet the changing needs of the industry.

The vastly experienced panel shared insights through a combination of retrospective analysis and forward-looking discussion, giving participants valuable perspectives on how adjudication can continue to serve as an effective mechanism for resolving disputes while evolving alongside new industry realities.
